This is a very special time, as we begin the Observance of the Lenten Season, which is 40 days... Leading up to Easter. This is a more focused service of something that ought to be part of a 'Lifestyle' of the Born Again Believer... Great Repentance, a Humbling and a search... even a yearning after G_d for His wonderful Presence accompanied by fasting... Why fasting? It is a denial of the flesh and by spending more time in Prayer and in the Word.. we Feed our Spirit-Man, to grow up in the Faith and in the Stature of Christ, Our Lord.
